Message Browser

The Message Browser has been provided in order to provide an enhanced message view to the error log. Besides the error written to the error log the Message Browser displays explanatory text for each registered error. Depending to the configuration, the display refreshes continuously and old messages are removed from the message browser.

The Message Browser displays one selected error log-file. In order to view different log-files, one may start several Message Browser. The current version of the message browser does not allow you changing the error log-file while running.

The Message Browser is an independent tool with its own resource base (MessageBrowser.dev). Since it is written completely in OSI and shipped separately, one may easily change or adapt it to your specific requirements.
