ODABA and tools

Products include database software, development tools and several applications, which are available as Open Source applications. ODABA and ODE might be downloaded from the Downloads page. Applications are packed into zip files and might be downloaded directly from the Applications web site.

• ODABA

  ODABA is a terminology-oriented database management system, that provides standard features for object-oriented databases, but also many useful extensions. ODABA is available under GPL and can be downloaded as binary version (MS Windows) or source code package (LINUX and MS Windows).

• ODABA Development Environment (ODE)

  ODABA provides a number of GUI tools, which supports developing terminology models, data models, method implementation and application design. ODE tools are available under GPL and can be downloaded as binary version (MS Windows) or source code package (LINUX and MS Windows).

• Plugins

  Several plugins might be used in connection with ODABA. There is a plugin interface for user-defined controls, which allows adding control types defined by external developers. RUN Software provides a number of user controls for graphical presentation, audio and video and other purposes. Moreover, a spell checker plugin is available.

• Applications

  Several applications and demos are provided in order to demonstrate ODABA features.
